Mark J. Horne has been practicing attorney in Florida since 1987. He is a member of the Florida Bar and is also admitted to practice in the Federal Court System in the Middle District of Florida. He is also a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association and the Jacksonville Bankruptcy Association.
Mr. Horne graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 1986 with a J.D. Degree. He received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University in 1983, obtaining a B.S. Degree in Political Science and a second B.S. Degree in Criminology. Mr. Horne has been specializing in collection work since 1987. He has extensive experience in foreclosures, commercial and consumer collections, a wide range of bankruptcy matters primarily dealing with creditors’ rights. Mr. Horne has considerable civil litigation experience including numerous trials.
Mr. Horne is married with two children. He was born in Mobile Alabama and has lived in Florida since 1975, residing in Jacksonville since 1986. In addition to his work experience, he is actively involved with his children’s schools and church. He enjoys traveling and camping with his family.
